that's right. L'Arc-en-Ciel grand cross conclusion 1999 tour. its AWESOME. say it with me: AWE-SOME. yes.

unfortunately, its not available in singapore bacause all these stupid industry people just dont bother to import L'Arc stuff for people like me. so pfffffffffffffft. sniff.

well anyway. i really really REALLY want it *BIG BIG HINT AHEM* so yes. and if youre wondering why, its because its really SO amazing and it was one of the videos/tours that made me fall in love with L'Arc in the first place.

WAI~~~

oh and today while packing, i found a letter from steph saying that when she dies shell give me ALL her things related to L'Arc. i doubt she remembers though. pfffft. well anyway. i also found 2 pictures of HYDE which she printed for me :D so yay. im very happy. =^^=

NANA is wonderful. well, for me at least. it amazing. i love NANA. its a really sweet show. :33 and another reason is cos one of the songs sung by mika nakashima (glamorous sky) is written/composed by HYDE-SAMAAAA<333

ahem. anyway. for all you who dont know, NANA is about these 2 girls who are of the same age (20) and name (nana), who initially meet on a train on the way to tokyo. both girls are of completely different characteristics; one is a budding vocalist (oosaki nana played by maki nakashima who is really a singer not an actress but acts superbly anyway) of rock band black stones (aka blast) while the other is a complete doofus (komatou nana) who is very happy but is a handful. the two then meet again while looking for an apartment to stay in and decide to live together, thus their journey together.

the rocker nana calls the doofus nana hachi so as to no confuse themselves. nana means 7 in japanese and hachi, which the rocker nana calls the other nana was meant as a name for a dog (xiao hei in chinese, translated into blackie) but hachi also means 8 in japanese. so yes. coincidentally or not, i dont care. the show is great.

well anyway, the movie shows how the two girls live their lives and the obstacles they face and how they got to know each other blah blah blah. the anime is a lot more detailed, same as death note. similarly, L in death note plays shin (newest blast member, bassist) in NANA, which is cute. he takes on a totally different look in death note (NANA came out first) and hes completely different, characterwise and all. but he's still cute. >.<

both movies have sequels coming out. not sure when for NANA 2 but they changed the actress for hachi which makes me unhappy ): apparently the new actress acted in ju-on 2 the grudge but i dont recognise her. besides, i prefer the first nana although shes annoying. i think she fits the role better cos shes younger and cuter. im not happy with the change!! its like how they like to constantly change actors for harry potter and its annoying. pffft. i mean, the first dumbledore dying couldnt be helped but they unneccesarily changed some other actors. i cant really remember who but im very sure i was annoyed. oh yes. the fat lady.

eh. looks like they also changed ren (which is good since the original ren is so ugly) and shin (OMG NO WHYYYYYY))))))):). well at least they didnt change oosaki nana and takumi. the rest, well heck lah.

well anyway, NANA is a brilliant show and i encourage everyone who likes me to go and watch both the anime and the movie (both of which can be found on youtube or ask me for the movie; im trying to look for downloads) cos its really great! those of you who dont like me, its your loss.

its also really awesome cos the characters in the movie really fit the original characters which is really good and damn hard to find. its in a way better than death note cos in death note, the light is kinda different but i love him anyway and thats all that matters. and also, they found almost/exactly the same building as the one in the anime, plus the insides as well. everything is similar. which is coolio.

yes. ok. i think thats it. oh and another coolio thing is they play mahjong (with really puny itsy bitsy tiles) and shin plays really well :D one thing though: the people there are DEFINITELY anorexic and they smoke too much. blast is cool though. and only takumi from the other band trapnest (aka toranesu) is cool. all the rest arent. ren is ugly. reira looks kinda strange to me. BUT! all of them have coolio accessories. especially nana. and ive got her ring!!>.<

well youd better.

anyway. wah im super tired. no, i WAS super tired. but i just baked, so i became tired AGAIN see. so i AM super tired. yepp, thats right. i think.

anyway. BACK FROM CAMP!! and so are a lot of people. so no biggie. but this is a big biggie cos its MY experience from camp(:

mmhmm. so prefects camp first. at first i was quite worried bout my group and stuff cos during icebreakers they didnt say much and it was like. uncomfortable and stuff. but after that we loosened up alot alot especially during teabreak and it was great. ahha alot of credit goes to bernice. hahah. yepp. and especially during the games, we bonded so super much and everyone was just like ITS OKAY WE CAN DO IT :DDDDD

so yay. im proud of my group! DURACELLLLLLLLLLL. shanya, deborah, cherilyn, chloe, claire, bernice, melissa, cheryl, sharanya, wensi and myself. IM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS. hahahah.

okok. training was fine. there was one part where i kept falling asleep cos everything was so wordy. but training was fun, our trainer was okay. he had us do weird things. which were quite fun i guess. ahha yeah. but the sec 2s this year are really super bonded. if i may say, maybe even more bonded than the sec 4s this year. like really. i mean everyone just really fits in and we just get along so well with each other and stuff. its really fun. and like. we cant get anything done without going crazy lah. really. very siao one.

haha yepp. overall had a super good time lah. we did the trust circle/square thing! it was really good. but my legs were super aching cos WE HAD TO RUN 2.4 EARLY IN THE MORNING AT LIKE 7 AM. thats nuts lah. but it was fufilling. and my legs are okay now. so thats good. mmhmm. and we just did a lot of crap lah. everything just passed really fast. i seriously love my group and i really love the sec 2s to death. we just like. bonded so much and stuff.

so thats good. mmhmm. hahah. yepp then after prefects camp i went to lesley's to stay over and well. i had fun there. i dunno why. it was just fun. hahah. yepp. then the next day went for ltc. initially i thought the camp would be super long even though i knew it would pass by really fast. but i dunno. i guess it was like. i dunno. cos i didnt really know my group and stuff? so yeah. i wasnt really feeling very enthu bout it lah. and like during the first teabreak everyone was so ngggh. and stuff. hahah.

hahah im sorry grace declared that not me. hahah anyway. yeah. my group, eagle, consisted of eunice, deanna, ivfen, maisie, bat, rachel, jasmine, cassandra, grace, cheryl, yiling and myself. i guess during lunch we opened up a bit more but it was ultimately the games through which we bonded really well. yeah and everything was okay after that, even though we were still a bit quiet. yeah and we had super a lot of training squashed together and i got a bit sleepy in the midst. but our trainer was very patient and he had super a lot of crappy things to say. the only problem was we had a whole lot of evaluations to do which got quite sian. like pre evaluation and post evaluation for every course and we had 4 courses. what a waste of paper. ahha.

then first night we got our projects. eagles doing orientation camp. nuts man. it was the sole one i didnt want. i was like, whatever is okay, i just dont want orientation camp. but oh well. nevermind lah i guess. i can probably take this as a challenge and i guess i should look at it from a positive point of view. and i shouldnt disappoint the people around me either. so yeah.

yepp. then after that cos i couldnt get to sleep, i stayed up and talked to char for like 2 hours. crazy lah. and dunno how we got through 2 hours of plain talking. we must have had a lot of rubbish to talk about. haha. yeah then i went to sleep cos the other SFs were coming back from evaluation.

then second day had a bit more training in the morning, then had amazing race! i think we did fairly well, considering we got the hardest route and we didnt run while all the other groups did. we came in fourth, which was a good thing. i think? hahah. yepp.

overall there were 6 stations but we could only complete 5 stations cos no time. we wasted super a lot of time getting to the first station which was at clarke quay. we spent 2 hours getting from school to the station cos we couldnt find the station. then we rushed like mad after that throughout.

i shant go through the stations cos i really cant be bothered too and im falling asleep at my computer so yes. i shall stop here.

i apologise for the obvious lack of interest but im tired although i slept 14+++ hours. hahah. nevermind. forgive me people! i still love y'all!

DEATH NOTE (desu noto)

eh okay one last post before i head off for camp. im in the midst of packing but i should be able to pack by tonight so should be fine. unfortunately, i wont be able to take any pictures cos daddy has the camera, so yeah. hopefully other people will take though. ah wells.

oreo and marshmallow cereal is gross when its soggy.

anyway. not the point. i didnt update bout friday. hm. so i shall. lesse.

i went to mel's house in the afternoon to make name tags etc for camp, then headed down to cine to watch movie with san and lydia, met san on the bus, went to heeren first instead cos it was raining and dammit, they have new larc products. =3 im so upset! i havent stepped into heeren for like what, 2 years and theyve changed so much!! ahhhhh. and yes ive been on a larc craze lately i dont know why either but ahhhhh. okay more bout that later.

then at heeren, we walked around, went to cine and we went to the cosplay costumes rental/anime merchandise stall. they have like the funnest and coolest stuff there. like really. they had kakashi's come come paradise notebook and lighter, death note notebook, wallet and lighter, naruto wallet, fma's pocket watch, naruto's pouch-frog/frog-pouch, kunais and shurikens, kon, urahara's hat, naruto's sleeping cap, loads of other things. its super cool. then san and i decided to get lydia a death note notebook, then we went to get tickets for death note and went to eat. then met lydia and went to watch. LYDDIE GOT BRACES :OOOOOO

heh heh heh. looks okay though. must hurt. mmhmm. omgggggg the movie was so good. like. i seriously dont care what others think of it, i loved it. ahhhhh its so good. and L highly amuses me. both light and L are super intellectual and weird. but the name light put me off a bit. i guess thats one of the minus parts for me. i mean, who names their kid light. why not dark. ha.ha.ha. the other minus side was the uncanny similarity between shiori (light's girlfriend) and naomi (ex-fbi agent, fiancee of ray something who is currently an fbi agent). like really. maybe its just the hair though. i dunno.

the movie follows the anime quite closely, though there are, inevitably, a few changes here and there. but generally, its rather similar. but i would advise for the anime to be watched before the movie or itll be a huge spoiler and it wont be fun. like what happened to me. but anyway. i thought they cosplayed L really well. maybe also cos he's so easy to do, but i felt that they could have done a better job with light. yeah then after that we went back to the stall and san also got me a notebook! ahhaha i love the girl.

coincidentally, joan kim and belicia were also at cine, but earlier in the day, vanesa, deanna, lauren, shannen and other people were also there but we din see them and vanesa and deanna were at the stall too! as in, they saw it as well. yes. haha.

yeah then on the way home, at the bus stop, for some reason or another, there were suddenly a whole lot of couples. i dunno why. mating season, perhaps? :D hahah no, but there was this couple, okay not say couple, this pair. looked quite young. like early teens or so? yeah they were SO obscene. like seriously. they were like hugging and clamouring over each other all over the place. it was pretty amusing, seeing as the girl was taller than the guy. but the girl was very pretty and the boy was cute. but not handsome-cute, more like kawaii-cute. he seemed like an anime-boy. and he had an earring. and they both have like dyed hair. so pai. haha they entertained me quite a bit. hahaha. yeah then i just got home and stuff. ahah. yes.

wahhh i tell you its super cool! like everything. and (although this piece of info isnt exactly the most beneficial) light's seiyuu is also tamaki's (ouran koko hosutobu) seiyuu who is also aoba riku's (tokimeki memorial) seiyuu who is also kiba's (wolf's rain) seiyuu who is also MIYANO MAMORU. i am absolutely in love with him. he's got a super distinctive voice, but its so nice and wahhhh. ((((((: heh heh.
