Tears welled up in her eyes and flowed down to join the small droplet that was already threatening to drip off her chin. She didn't know why she was crying, but she knew she was hurting down deep inside.

Memories and flashbacks played in her mind. Wishing, regretting, wanting to change the past were some of the things coming into her mind. Maybe if something hadn't happened or she hadn't gotten to know someone. Or perhaps, happened in a different way. It would have been better.
